Description
Astringedent is a highly effective 15.5% ferric sulfate hemostatic solution with a pH of 1.0, designed for use in various dental procedures. Known as the "Classic" hemostatic agent, it effectively eradicates sulcular fluid contamination to optimize bonding and reduce the need for costly impression remakes. This aqueous formula is particularly well-suited for soaking retraction cords and is recognized for being more tissue-kind than many alternative ferric subsulfate solutions.
